Manatsu Natsuumi moves from an island to Aozora City, to live with her mom. There, she meets Laura, a mermaid, who makes her a Pretty Cure using the power of makeup. Manatsu and her fellow Pretty Cures fight against the servants of the Witch of Delays, who stole the motivation power from Laura's Mermaid Kingdom and are now trying to steal it from the human world.

Eiga Tropical-Rouge! Precure: Yuki no Princess to Kiseki no Yubiwa! (movie):
We all depart to the sparkling world of snow‚ô™ Woah, it's tropica-shining~! Laura, who wants to be the queen of the Mermaid Kingdom, has befriended Sharon who gave her a beautiful ring. But just as they decide to keep a promise, a mysterious monster suddenly appears and locks everyone inside of the kingdom.

Tropical-Rouge! Precure Petit Tobikome! Collabo‚ñΩDance Party! (movie):
The animated short starts with Laura presenting the Tropical Rouge team a Dream Pendant and an invitation to a Dance Party, which was given to her by Rabirin. Sango, Minori, and Asuka are delighted to hear this, with Manatsu declaring it is the most important thing right now.
