Season 1:
A certain college girl who's loved books ever since she was a little girl dies in an accident and is reborn in another world she knows nothing about. She is now Myne, the sickly five-year-old daughter of a poor soldier. To make things worse, the world she's been reborn in has a very low literacy rate and books mostly don't exist.
Season 2:
Myne has learned that her problem with The Devouring is actually a boon to the Church and she can be saved from it that by joining the Church, so she goes to work at the Cathedral as a fledgling blue robe-wearer. There she must learn new responsibilities and duties but also how to take advantage of new opportunities.
Season 3:
Winter is approaching, and Myne-now an apprentice priestess-must prepare for her stay at the church and the upcoming Dedication Ceremony. However, due to her immense knowledge and extraordinary amount of mana, she has garnered the attention of many dangerous people, who are willing to do anything to get their hands on Myne.
