Three late-Ming Dynasty officials - Yuen Sung Woon, Joh Gwong Dau and Lee Jun Chung - accidentally travel forward four hundred years to modern-day Foshan. They meet Fong Wai Chi, who is searching for a hidden master chef. When they see a female celebrity on television who looks like the missing crown princess Kwok Sin, Fong Wai Chi deceives them by saying she can arrange for them to meet her in Hong Kong. Desperate to save the princess, the three officials sign employment contracts and become waiters and a chef at Fong Wai Chi's restaurant. It turns out that Fong Wai Chi wants to use Lee Jun Chung's superior cooking skills to save the restaurant's declining reputation.
