Seuk Lan Ga Ga (Liza Wang Ming Chun) was born into royalty. Being a princess, she has had the privilege of being tyrannical and unreasonable for more than 40 years. Her son Ning Mau Chun (Bosco Wong) reaches the age of marriage. She kidnaps the best girl she can find in the capital for him. Unfortunately, Mau Chun eventually gets married to a mountain bandit's daughter Tin Lik (Myolie Wu) instead.

Shap-Yat/Tin Lik (Myolie Wu) married into the "Ning" family by coincidence. When she was escaping from the guards, she fled to a place where the bride will be married to the "Ning" family. But the bride, Makai Yin-Han, had already eloped with another man. Therefore, in order to escape from the guards, Tin Lik had to be the imposter of Makai Yin-Han. Tin Lik's mother-in-law, Seuk Lan Ga Ga, is very unreasonable princess. They always argue with each other and Tin Lik's husband, Mau Chun, always get caught in between. He had to please his mother as well as his wife.

Ning Mau Chun (Bosco Wong) plays a very timid guy. He is always afraid of this and that. But no one knows that he is actually a hero. Everybody called him But Lau Ming. He always helped those poor people and teach those corrupted Officials a lesson. He excels in martial arts. There was one time when he appeared in a Charity Function and wanted to teach the corrupted Official a lesson. And, he also saved Tin Lik. From that day onwards, she found herself falling in love with But Lau Ming. Mau Chun began to like Tin Lik too. But, he got jealous of himself as his wife was fond of But Lau Ming but not fond of his usual self...
