Product Description

A young boy, Sōsuke, befriends a strange looking goldfish whom he names Ponyo. Unbeknownst to Sōsuke, Ponyo is a magic fish who has decided that she wants to live with Sōsuke and the other humans. Unfortunately, Ponyo's decision to give up her underwater life creates a crack in an ancient magic spell, and places the world in danger. Together, Sōsuke and Ponyo must set things right.

Delivery not as quick as I ordered to many others at amazon. So far it's not a big deal. 2. I didn't know the purchased DVD's language is only can be chosen in Chinese, Cantoness and japanese. My 3 year old kids can't read any language at this moment and only listen and speak English. 3. Look. this is true comments made a true customer. Please believe me I spent time to make the comment here is only wish your site can be improved better.


United Kingdom	Studio Ghibli works its' magic again by Alan Cheverton 2009-10-21 23:29:53 This is an endearing tale of a goldfish who wishes to become human. In the search to become so, she becomes great friends with a five-year-old boy. The story is well scripted and the imagery and art direction is up to the truly wonderful Ghibl standards. For those students of Japanese language, it's simplicity of speach (don't forget, the main characters are only 5 years old) makes it so much more watchable. Others will have to read the subtitles, or wait until the English language version comes out - and buy it up quick, before it is sold out!!


United States	My daughters love this film by Margarita Azmitia 2009-12-02 14:45:40 We saw Ponyo in the theaters and my 9-year-old feel in love with it. It was all she wanted for her birthday, and i was glad to be able to buy it even though the soundtrack is in Japanese (in the theaters it was dubbed). We love it, she (and sometimes my younger daughter) have watched it dozens of times.
