Song Titles:

Cagayake! GIRLS – Of course have to play this at the beginning, it’s the anime opening theme. This was really good and what a way to introduce yourselves. Although I am suspicious of their instrument playing… After the song with have a bit of MC talk before the start of the Character songs. Each song with have an instrument solo before the song starts.

Curry Nochi Rice – Not my favourite song, with Aki singing, but still a great performance from the girls.

Fude Pen ~Ballpoint Pen~ – Great song with Hisaka taking the lead; still having the suspicion of the instrument playing.

Watashi no Koi wa Hotch Kiss – Love this song, with both Aki and Hisaka taking in turns to sing the verses.

Fuwa Fuwa Time – Of course they wouldn’t leave out Fuwa Fuwa Time, Aki starts singing but I don’t know why near the end of the song with the encore they all started sobbing, this was a bit OTT and not HTT…. Disappointing… but I forgive them!

Encore (They bugger off then come back)

Don’t Say “Lazy” – The Ending theme is played (5in version) though this confirm my suspicion that they were not playing their instruments, I think they had some training but not at the level of professional musicians are. Personally I don’t care, they are voice actresses, I don’t expect them to learn an instrument off the bat, it takes years so I ignore this completely.

Here they show a clip of K-ON! A recap of the series, then a huge cheer from the crowd as they announce the return for second Season with K-ON!! (Yeah you all know already)

Cagayake GIRLS – encore again.

Let’s Go! – All the girls return to the stage with the group song taking it in turns singing (including Sawako, Ui & Nodoka even though the song is not on their character CDs)

This was a great concert, apart from the false playing of their instruments, WHO CARES!!! I don’t. Also there are no subtitles for the MCing bits so you have guess what they are saying, but that is a small price to pay. Providing you can sit and watch it for two and half hours, I can. My excuse, it is K-ON! Live. Enough said.

Guitar ni Kubittake (Yui Hirasawa) – This song cute and energetic, that is what I expected from Aki Toyosaki. Although Iam not keen on the cute voice of Yui, Aki’s choice of costume makes all the difference.

Heart Goes Boom!! (Mio Akiyama) – Everyone loves Mio (well almost everyone) and especially her voice. So mature and flowing this was a great performance by Hisaka, not so keen on your costume though.

Girly Storm Shissou Stick (Ritsu Tainaka) – This was disappointing for me as Satomi Satou seem to speak her song more so than sing, plus her costume didn’t do her any favours as well, shame really.

Dear My Keys ~Kenban (Tsumugi Kotobuki) – Minako Kotobuki was great with her song. Just like Hisaka her voice was flowing and mature. Plus her outfit was really cute that I think it reflects her character Mugi. Great performance.

Jajauma Way To Go (Azusa Nakano) – Another cute voice, my favourite “cute” voice as well. Ayana Taketatsu does really well, pulling off a great performance, can I take her home? No.. ok….

Maddy Candy (Sawako Yamanaka) – Everything goes blurry, it is not your eyes or your TV but it is the entrance to Asami Sanada. Living up to her character, she appears dressed as Death Devil and sings her heavy metal song. Not a huge fan of heavy metal but it was an ok song, good job.

Bit more MCing, introducing Asami Sanada (cute teacher version), Chika Fujitou & Madoka Yonezawa.

Lovely Sister LOVE (Ui Hirasawa) – The other cute voice, similar of course to Aki’s Yui. But I think this is slightly cuter. I don’t know is it getting a bit to moe? Yes, No, Maybe? Hmmm great performance, lovely.

Coolly Hotty Tension (Nodoka Manabe) – Wow! I grow fonder of this song the more times I hear it. Chika has a great mature singing voice just like Hisaka’s. Chika also gets the crowd going, however not so good on the outfit.

Character songs over, we have a script reading section, each of the voice cast have a live K-ON! Performance. Then it’s on to Houkago Tea Time.
